Chapter 4 - The 4K Surveillance Seizure

Caleb Sterling—our intelligence director—connected an encrypted military-grade hardware token directly into the ballroom’s integrated audiovisual console:

BEEP-CHIRP.

The massive eighty-inch digital presentation monitors mounted along the perimeter walls, usually used to showcase Vance Consolidated's corporate promotional reels, flared to life in brilliant 4K resolution.

The screens did not display architectural blueprints.

They displayed the live, decrypted forensic telemetry of the Vance family's private offshore accounts, synchronized alongside the high-definition security footage of the ballroom recorded over the past two hours:

Isaac tying my wrists to the ceiling beam. Clover laughing into her champagne glass. Wendy Vance mocking my background. And Isaac swinging the leather crop thirty times while fifty guests watched in silence.

The sixty guests recoiled in collective, visceral horror.

Several prominent city council members and banking trustees who had attended the party stepped back, their faces twisted in absolute disgust.

"My God..." City Council President Thomas Falcone whispered, staring at the screen in pure revulsion. "He tied her to a beam like an animal over a spilled glass of wine."

Falcone turned to Arthur Vance: "Consider our municipal airport contract terminated, Arthur. The city will not do business with sadistic cowards."

Isaac, still pinned against the wall by Noah’s grip, choked out ragged, desperate sobs: "Noah... please... let me down! I didn't know! I swear to God, I didn't know she had brothers like you!"

May you like

Noah tightened his grip by a fraction of an inch, looking into Isaac's bulging eyes:

"You didn't need to know who her brothers were, Isaac," Noah whispered. "You just needed to remember who she was."
