Three weeks later, she walks in and finds a contractor measuring it for an elderly woman’s bedroom.
Her husband, Greg, has promised the room to his eighty-one-year-old mother, Helen, without asking Susan.
But the real blow comes when Susan realizes Greg made that promise before he helped her paint the room, install her shelves, and celebrate her new business.
And when Susan asks what Helen believes she agreed to, Greg refuses to answer.
