Chapter 5 - The Reading of the True Lineal Charter

Arthur Vance Senior strode to the center of the boardroom, opening an antique, red-wax-stamped leather folio bearing the gold seal of the United States Supreme Court.
On the massive digital displays flanking Bradleyâs trembling frame, decrypted Swiss banking manifests, the physical title deeds to the three-hundred-acre Hill Country parcel, and unredacted federal grand jury indictments flared to life:
THE STERLING-VANCE SOVEREIGN CHARTER (EXHIBIT B):
The True Lineal Estate Title: The four-million-dollar Westlake property and its surrounding three hundred acres of commercial ranch land were not acquired with Ethan Walkerâs income. They were purchased in 1974 with 100% Capital Reserves from the Laura Sterling Lineal Trust, with Laura confirmed as the sole unencumbered titleholder.
The Statutory Lineal Disinheritance: Under Section 18 of the Federal Fiduciary Integrity Act, upon any documented act of criminal embezzlement, marital fraud, or military dependent deprivation, One Hundred Percent of All Marital Assets, Real Estate Titles, and Corporate Shares revert immediately, unconditionally, and irrevocably to Captain Laura Sterling-Vance.
The Sovereign Lineal Ratification: Official confirmation of Captain Laura Sterling-Vance as the Permanent Sovereign Chairwoman and Supreme Fiduciary of the newly consolidated Sterling-Vance Global Maritime & Land Development Consortium (Total Current Valuation: $280,000,000.00).
Bradley Walker let out a sharp, strangulated shriek, his knees giving out beneath him as he collapsed onto the carpet, clawing frantically at Colonel Carterâs trousers:
"Arthur! Please! I built this commercial brokerage for twenty-five years! Ethan told me Laura was just a naive girl from the valley! You cannot hand two hundred and eighty million dollars to an active-duty soldier!"
Arthur Vance Senior slowly raised his silver-headed cane, tapping the floorboards with concussive finality:
CLACK.
"Laura is not a naive girl, Bradley," Arthur Vance Senior rumbled, his voice echoing like rolling thunder off the stone walls. "She is the sovereign daughter of Thomas Sterling. And you are a common thief facing thirty-five years at the ADX Florence Supermax Facility in Colorado."
Special Agent Marcus Cole stepped forward, pulling heavy carbon-steel transport handcuffs from his duty belt:
CLICK. CLACK.
The steel ratchets engaged around Bradley Walkerâs wrists behind his back with bone-jarring finality as two federal marshals hauled the weeping corporate raider to his feet.
A second pair of handcuffs snapped around Ethan Walkerâs wrists as he was escorted into the room by state troopers, sobbing in raw, ruined hysterics, his tailored slacks dragging across the floorboards.
As the marshals dragged the conspirators down the central aisle of the boardroom in chains, fifty senior directors turned toward the head of the table, bowing their heads in deep, unanimous submission to Captain Laura Sterling-Vance and Colonel Aaron Carter.
I looked down at the golden executive seal resting before me, feeling the profound, unshakeable warmth of my late mother's memory filling every corner of my soul.
The nine months of sacrifice in the dust were over.

My home was reclaimed.
And the empire was sovereign forever.
