David frantically bellowed, "Lies! All of it is slander! Rachel, you're just bitter because we divorced!"
"Silence!" Judge Whitman slammed her gavel with immense force. "Mr. Caldwell, maintain order or you will be charged with obstruction of justice."
At that moment, the small bottle Lily had handed over was quickly tested by forensics. The police chief stepped into the courtroom and reported directly to the judge: "Your Honor, the fingerprints on the bottle match Jessica Miller's. The liquid inside contains a highly toxic, heavy-dosage abortifacient."
