Chapter 6: Bianca’s Final Move

When the lights returned, Bianca stood at the top of the stairs.
Confident.
Calm.
Dangerous.
“You should have left me alone, Julian.”
Security surrounded her.
Julian frowned.
“How did you get inside?”
She smiled.
“Because this house was never as secure as you thought.”
Then she dropped a folder onto the table.
Inside were documents.
Old documents.
“Martha hid this from you.”
Julian opened them.
His hands froze.
The papers showed his father had transferred millions of dollars before disappearing.
Money that was supposed to belong to Julian.
His mother had hidden it.
“Mom?”
Martha cried.
“I did it because your father wanted to use you.”
Julian looked at Bianca.
“And you knew?”
Bianca smiled.
“I knew everything.”
But then something unexpected happened.
Daniel Cross entered the room.
With police officers.
Bianca’s smile disappeared.
“You?”
Daniel looked at her.
“It’s over.”
Because Daniel had recorded every conversation.
Every threat.
Every plan.
Every confession.
Bianca finally lost control.
“You think you can stop me?”
She pointed at Julian.
“You’ll lose everything.”
Julian looked at her calmly.
“No.”
He stepped closer.
“You already lost.”
May you like
But Bianca laughed.
Because she had one final secret.
