Part 2: The Truth Exposed

"Court?" Daniel burst into laughter, a sound dripping with mockery. "Who do you think you are to threaten me with court? Everything you have today is because of me!"
Standing behind him, Evelyn crossed her arms, her eyes filled with disdain. "What an ungrateful leech. Daniel, kick her out right now. Don’t let her kind of people silhouette the clean floors of my house."
I looked down at the fresh, bright red blood pooling in my palm and smiled. That smile made both of them visibly flinch. I didn't bother packing any luggage. I just firmly gripped my luxury purse—the very one bought with my own money.
"Daniel," I called his name softly, but my tone was ice-cold. "Have you ever wondered how an incompetent man, whose business projects constantly bleed money, always has enough cash in his account to give his mother a $10,000 monthly spa allowance?"
Daniel’s face paled. "What are you talking about? That money comes from my company's investment fund!"
"Investment fund?" I pulled a tablet out of my purse, swiped a few times, and turned the screen toward him. "That fund belongs to 'Vanguard Holdings'. And guess who is the sole 100% shareholder of Vanguard?"
Daniel's eyes widened in horror as he stared at the document on the screen: Chairman of the Board & Legal Representative: Elena Vance.

"This... This is fake! You forged these documents to trick me, didn't you?!" Daniel screamed, lunging to grab the tablet, but I stepped back just in time.
"And as for this mansion," I glanced around the room, my eyes locking onto my mother-in-law, whose face was turning entirely white. "It was purchased under a real estate corporation owned by Vanguard. In other words, Evelyn... you have been living in my house for free for the past three years."
