Chapter 3: The Boardroom Execution

By 9:00 AM the following morning, the headquarters of Vantage Global in Manhattan was in complete

chaos. Shareholders were panicking, news helicopters hovered overhead, and the board members

were screaming at each other in the executive boardroom on the 80th floor.

Arthur Sterling sat at the head of the long mahogany table, looking ten years older. His hair was

disheveled, and his hands trembled as he poured himself water. Beside him sat Julian Vance—Clara’s

estranged step-brother, a ruthless venture capitalist who had secretly backed Catherine's rise to

power.

"We need to execute a public relations campaign immediately!" Arthur demanded, slamming his fist

on the table. "We frame Clara as an unstable imposter! We freeze her legal claim!"

"You can't frame a woman who holds 51% of voting equity, Arthur," Julian said coldly, adjusting his

gold cufflinks. "You failed to keep that brat under control. Now she’s coming to slaughter us all."

Right on cue, the heavy double doors of the boardroom swung open.

Clara walked in, flanked by a team of six high-powered corporate attorneys and private security detail.

She wore a tailored crimson blazer—the color of blood and victory. The atmosphere in the room

instantly turned suffocatingly cold.

"Good morning, gentlemen," Clara said, taking her seat at the absolute head of the table—the seat

Arthur had occupied for a decade.

"Clara! You have no right to occupy that chair!" Arthur yelled, standing up. "Security!"

"The security guards on this floor now answer to my payroll, Arthur," Clara replied calmly, opening a

leather binder. "Let’s get straight to business. Article 4, Section 12 of the Vantage Founding Charter

states that any executive officer engaging in embezzlement, corporate fraud, or moral pathology

resulting in brand damage shall be removed with cause, forfeiting all stock options."

She motioned to her lead attorney, who tossed a thick stack of documents onto the middle of the table.

"Inside these folders," Clara continued, "are ten years of financial records detailing how Arthur

Sterling and Julian Vance funneled $400 million of company funds into offshore shell accounts in the

Cayman Islands to fund Catherine’s luxury lifestyle and Julian’s illegal gambling debts."

Julian’s face went deadly pale. "That's... that's a fabrication!"

"It’s audited by the IRS," Clara smiled, leaning forward. "You have two choices. Sign over your

remaining shares for one dollar each and walk out of this building forever... or leave in handcuffs

before the bell rings at the Stock Exchange."

Arthur sank into his chair, realizing he was completely defeated. His empire, built on lies and

arrogance, had crumbled in less than twelve hours.
