The failure at the warehouse was just the beginning. The following morning, the financial district woke up to a massacre.

It started with a series of anonymous whistleblowers dumping terabytes of data onto the dark web, which was immediately picked up by major news outlets. The documents detailed decades of corporate espionage, tax evasion, and political bribery orchestrated by Victoria Julian. The ledgers were immaculate, verified, and utterly damning.

By 9:30 AM, Julian’s company stock was in a free fall, losing half its value before the market had even fully warmed up. By noon, the Securities and Exchange Commission had suspended trading on all their assets.

Julian stood helplessly in his downtown office, watching a fleet of black SUVs pull up to the plaza below. Federal agents wearing windbreakers swarmed the lobby, carrying empty cardboard boxes and federal warrants. They were freezing assets, seizing hard drives, and detaining executives.
