The judge ordered my father to serve seven years in state prison with no possibility of early parole for the primary fraud charges. My mother received three years of formal probation, community service, and a heavy civil fine for her role in altering my grandmother’s trust documents.
Ethan, facing separate charges, was sentenced to two years in a minimum-security facility and ordered to complete mandatory restitution.
Furthermore, the civil court awarded me full restoration of my grandmother’s estate, total restitution for the fraudulent loans with interest, and punitive damages—amounting to over $1.2 million.
