Chapter 15 - The Ultimate Victory
One year later.
The summer sun shone brightly over the university courtyard, illuminating the exact spot where my cap had fallen a year ago.
I stood in the center of the lawn, wearing a black silk master’s degree gown. But this time, everything was different.
There were no screaming parents, no hidden threats, and no fear. Standing beside me were Chloe, cheering loudly with a bouquet of sunflowers, Mr. Vance smiling proudly, and dozens of young scholarship recipients from my foundation who had come to celebrate with me.
When my name was called to receive my Master of Finance degree with highest honors, the entire stadium rose to its feet, erupting into a roaring ovation.
